Homesick...
"for a place that doesn't exist anymore".
You grow up & leave your childhood home, you move on to your young adult place of experiences, you move from place to place as a young adult, you don't live where you've raised your child, you relocate in a far away state... you long for that place of security and stability that (at least) your mind thinks you once had. It's that feeling in your gut that always kind of hurts and is sad.
